Le poste

Votre mission ROLE : The Global Category Leader is in charge of the purchasing strategy for all trackworks categories (such as rails, sleepers, turnout) to ensure project requirements and financial targets are met. OBJECTIVES : Support projects with global purchasing strategy based on risk management. Manage supplier from a strategic standpoint, including contractual discussions. Coordinate the purchasing community worldwide according to strategy. Be focal point for strategic suppliers. MISSION: Develop competitive panels in accordance with CSR and environmental targets. Create value for projects from global a risk management approach. Maximize profitability from strategic standpoint. PERIMETER: Colas Rail and subsidiaries Vos responsabilités SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT: Develop a supplier panel in accordance with the strategy. Scout the market for new players Animate business reviews with strategic suppliers Manage audit and qualification plan of the panel. Promote innovation, low carbon initiatives, CSR and R&D Meet and visit suppliers. DATA MANAGEMENT: Collaborate closely with the purchasing data analyst to strengthen the data and reports. Consolidate and analyze the data to define strategy for each category. Monitor the activity to ensure strategies are relevant, followed and targets are met. PROJECT SUPPORT: Support project buyers, worldwide, in tenders and project executions through supplier selections. Support projects being focal point for escalation with suppliers when required. Support in negotiation for strategic orders. Manage project claims as part of supplier management. CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: Promote standardization and risk management approach. Strengthen process, KPI and reports.
