You will be in charge of supporting our customers in the overall design of complex safety critical systems, writing requirements for those systems depending on our customers' needs, as well as performing client facing activities. This role will require good knowledge in ATM systems/architecture, as well as system engineering. It will also imply interacting with multiple stakeholders to contribute to the development of both current and future Air Traffic Management systems.
Key Responsibilities
- High level system design to meet customer business and operational needs,
- Requirements specification,
- Design and implementation of verification and validation activities,
- Review and validation of any data provided by suppliers and validation of data in support of the safety arguments,
- Support regulatory approvals and certification activity,
- Support audits carried out by the quality assurance team,
- Liaising with clients and the realisation of the customer's objectives.
Education and Training
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering Science or above awarded by a tertiary institution in any part of the world or equivalent;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Project, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint);
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
Experience
- At least 3
- 6 years' of post qualification experience in the field of systems engineering.
- A proven experience in system design, system engineering or software engineering, ideally applied to the Air Traffic Management sector.
- A good overall understanding of key benefits and weaknesses of different technical design options and a good, broad understanding of technology architecture and design options.
- Ability to understand customer interaction, needs and operations, and how these translate into requirements and design for assistance.
- A proven track record of working on a complex program.
