Egis conducts studies for its clients located in Brussels and its immediate surroundings. In order to meet the demand of its customers, Egis wants to expand the team on site.
You will then join the Egis' Aviation Service Line. You will be part of our System Architecture team and will mainly work for a local Belgian client.
You will work on the client site at least 3 days a week and be part of the client's system architect team.
Within this team, you will be in charge for the ATM systems:
- Design and maintain the enterprise-level architecture blueprint (AS IS)
- Develop the architectural strategy in collaboration with the stakeholders (TO BE)
- Oversee the integration of the different systems into a cohesive and interoperable ecosystem
- Follow the industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Identify potential security, safety, and operational risks, work collaboratively with cybersecurity and risk management teams
- Optimize the performance of the systems
- Communicate with the various stakeholders, translate the technical concepts into understandable terms for non-technical people to facilitate decision-making processes and onboarding of the strategy
- Challenge the ideas of the system architect team
As a member of the Egis team, you may also be required to:
- Support business activities, e.g. by participating in the preparation of bids
Participate in internal communication actions, such as lunchtime seminars, to share your skills and knowledge with your colleagues
You have obtained an engineering degree on the ATM or computer science topics and have at least 10 years of working experience as a System Architect with a good knowledge of ATM systems.
You have a good knowledge of system engineering methodologies, modeling (UML).
You stay informed about the latest ATM technologies, tools, and methodologies.
The mastering of the English language is mandatory.
The knowledge of another language such as French and/or Dutch will be appreciated.
You demonstrate a good level of autonomy.
You have strong interpersonal skills, including good communication skills, which will enable you to interact with your team and others stakeholders. You are a team player are rigorous.
You have a strong ethical commitment.
Best to have : Certification in relevant enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF)
