- Developing schedules containing all agreed activities, deliverables milestones and client deliverables based on the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
- Implementing and maintain project monitoring processes such as KPIs, total float, Earned Value (EV), resource and costing.
- Monitoring progress and anticipating problems to keep the project on track, including creating recovery and contingency plans.
- Monitoring and auditing contractor plans and planning processes
- Performing analysis and scenario modeling for potential project changes
- Providing risk, issue, cost, resource and delay analysis
- Performing critical path analysis and advising of possible actions and areas of concern
- Providing regular reports on project status for internal reporting requirements.
- Attending project coordination meetings to discuss project status with specific reference to engineering activity, sourcing, quality, cost and delivery.
- 12 years in project planning on major rail projects
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
- Strong technical knowledge of Primavera P6
- Experience of schedule risk and claims analysis
