Description
Asset management is a key strategic competence for Egis, whether Egis is acting as a long term infrastructure manager (through PPP activity) or advising clients who manage critical national infrastructure.
Reporting to the Practice Director, the Asset Management Project Manager will support the infrastructure management arm of the business (tendering and operational support) as well as continue to support the growing global advisory offer around asset management, with teams currently in europe, UK and Australia.
The scope of the position covers different types of assets, with a focus on motorway assets but also the opportunity to apply cross-disciplinary skills to other types of assets; rail, airport and building.
Activity
▬ Leading technical and contractual analyses, with the relevant experts, to understand and summarise the risks/opportunities associated with projects in the bid phase
▬ Support tendering from opportunity identification through to tender submission
▬ Working with asset management IT experts in the practice to identify and deploy IT solutions (product types include CMMS, mobile, GIS, BI, AIP, BIM)
▬ Support the development and execution of the asset management growth strategy and support international regions with their development
▬ Support the development of materials to communicate on Egis' expertise and service offering
▬ Work with our international network of motorway operators and technical experts in the Egis Group to gather and share best practice information and innovations, improving our knowledge base
▬ Share asset management skills and support to projects in the mobilisation, operational and handback phases
▬ Master's degree / Engineering degree, ideally in Civil Engineering subjects.
▬ Ability to understand technical analysis (e.g. inspections) and PPP contracts to identify key risks and summarise them in papers
▬ A structured project management mindset. Ability to provide structure to projects, communicate effectively and work within multidisciplinary teams that may be made up of clients and partners
▬ Ability to analyse, structure, make proposals and take initiative are key to being successful in this role
▬ A very good command of English (oral and written) is required to work across different regions and with international projects. Spanish would also be an asset.
An international professional experience is desired (inc as part of education or work placement).
Knowledge of AM methodologies and standards (e.g. ISO 55001:2014) is desired but not a must have.
