- Develop the Risk Management strategy, plan and procedures for the project.
- Develop and manage the project risk management register.
- Comprehensively identifying Risks that might impact on the achievement of the Program Objectives
- Accurately assessing using both qualitative and quantitative methods the potential impacts of the identified Risks
- Prioritising the requirements for Risk response identification
- Formulating appropriate responses to the identified Risks
- Quantifying adequate cost and time provisions for post-response residual Risk impacts
- Controlling the implementation of identified Risk responses
- Monitoring changes in Risk exposure, identifying new Risks and modifying responses
- Data gathering to support monthly risk reports; including report preparation
- Establish Risk Management cadence including recurring meetings and reporting
- Conduct regular risk workshops with different stakeholders
- High degree of technical proficiency in implementing risk management procedures on major construction projects.
- Understanding of key engineering and construction concepts.
- Technically proficient in one or more risk management tools (i.e. Active Risk Manager, Primavera Risk Analysis, etc).
- Proficient with quantitative cost and schedule analysis using Monte Carlo simulation
techniques - Ability to work with diverse stakeholders at all levels in order to negotiate win-win
situations
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a highly pressurized and ever-changing work environment
- High degree of competency in the use of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
