Your role
Joining Egis in the UK as a graduate means you will become part of our Graduate Program, a tailored training schedule that supports you as you begin your career with us, giving you the skills to excel and achieve your goals.
We support you in fostering connections with colleagues from across the country through a variety of training and development sessions, networking lunches, site visits and technical training.
Our project advisory business operates across all stages of the project lifecycle and spans multiple technical disciplines including Project and Programme Management (PPM), economics, transport planning, town planning and environmental assessment.
Owing to a growing pipeline of project-related works, Egis is seeking a 'project leader,' 'strategic thinker' and 'workstream integrator' for the position of Project Management Graduate.
We are looking for candidates who can respond positively to ambiguity (a "blank page") and can proactively bring order and structure to delivery.
The successful applicant is to have an appreciation of how transport can be the catalyst for regeneration and economic growth (including interactions with housing, commercial development, funding and financing and social policy) and be highly literate to autonomously author technical reports and develop strategy.
Focusing principally on feasibility stage projects (RIBA Stages 1-3) and operating by all necessary statutory/regulatory processes (HM Treasury Green Book, Environmental Impact Assessment, Town and Country Planning Act/Development Consent Order), the Graduate will support the integration of technical workstreams (including town planning, property, environment, design and cost estimation) to develop a coherent project delivery strategy on behalf of our clients.
As a Graduate, you will be responsible for ensuring that key project risks and constraints are identified at the earliest opportunity to inform client decision-making.
Profile:
The consultancy environment can be fast-paced with opportunities emerging at short notice that will require a flexible, agile approach to delivering excellence in service
If you join our Graduate programme, you will primarily specialise in transport infrastructure, but this may involve interactions with other built environment sectors.
You will visit our current project locations observing various stages of the project lifecycle, meeting the teams whilst also getting to know the other functions that support the business, such as finance, HR, and business development.
You will receive intensive training so that you start to understand the delivery of projects within the UK, whilst also developing a personal development plan with your line manager.
To apply, please provide your CV and a cover letter expressing your interest and suitability for the role for which you have applied.
