Description de l'offre

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director with rail experience to join our Transportation Business Line to lead our Wales and West Region. You will be responsible for leading a high performing team and will be instrumental in the growth of Egis within the region, whilst also safely delivering £50-100m portfolios of challenging rail infrastructure projects, for clients such as Network Rail, Transport for Wales, HS2, Train Operating Companies and many more.

 

Duties & responsibilities:

 

Vision and Leadership

  • Establish and successfully deliver against a regional business plan
  • Grow an effective organisational structure and skill base to meet the needs of the region in the short and longer term

Work Winning

  • Lead on business development and tendering activity within the region
  • Implement effective strategic marketing campaigns

 

Sustainable Development

  • Ensure that that Sustainability, Environment and Quality policies are discharged on all projects
  • Demonstrate effective innovation leadership at all times to enhance the organisation's commitment to sustainable performance.


Operational Capability

  • Responsible for planning, operations, performance and growth of the region
  • Responsible for forecasting recruitment requirements in line with the order book, ensuring an efficient level of resource is secured to satisfy project needs
  • Responsible for providing a clear vision and team direction by leading a high-performing team through the effective management, development and empowerment of staff.
  • Ensure successful delivery of all contracts in line with Egis processes and procedures, safely and to a high quality output
  • Accountable for regional P&L, achieving regional targets and ensuring a robust cash flow
  • Act as key account manager for regional clients
  • Accountable for ensuring that monthly and quarterly reporting is undertaken inline with Egis' business reporting procedures
  • Lead the regional office and regional staff engagement


Project Delivery

  • Plan and manage a portfolio of non-complex/complex projects throughout the complete project lifecycle
  • Responsible for compliance with relevant health and safety legislation and championing the Health and Safety culture, resolving arising issues or escalating as appropriate and ensuring safe delivery in line with the corporate safety vision.
  • Accountable for complex internal and external stakeholder engagement/management.
  • Propose and agree contract strategy with key internal stakeholders. Produce Invitation to Tender documentation and manage procurement events to secure all necessary contracts for successful portfolio delivery.
  • Lead on post contract management, including management of early warnings, contract change and change control.
  • Work collaboratively with internal design teams and supply chain partners to successfully delivery project outcomes.

Qualifications, Skills, Experience & Attributes

 

Essential:

  • Member of the Association of Project Management (or equivalent).

  • A degree or equivalent.

  • Relevant experience in project management and delivering complex rail projects.

  • Experience implementing GRIP, PACE, Pathway or other project management methodologies.

  • Strong NEC3 contract administration experience.

  • Ability to interrogate project programmes (P6 and/or MSP).

  • Strong financial management/control experience.

     

    YOU MUST HAVE THE RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK

 

Desirable:

  • Chartered Project Manager 

  • NEC Project Management Accreditation
