Saint-Gobain Isover's Research and Innovation Center, located north of Paris and accessible by public transport in less than one hour from Gare du Nord, is recruiting a Portfolio and Competence Team Manager.

Reporting to the R&D Director for Insulation Processes, you will be responsible for the R&D project portfolio related to the "blowing wool" roadmap within the Group's Insulation R&D team. You will also manage a competence team within our Isover R&D center in Rantigny.

Your main responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor an R&D project portfolio in line with the Group's strategy, in collaboration with international marketing, purchasing, and industrial teams


• Define and manage projects and studies, ensuring delivery through to market launch, while meeting deadlines, budgets, and the Group's innovation quality processes


• Propose and implement the intellectual property strategy for your portfolio


• Act as a recognized technical expert in the Insulation business, in France and internationally:
  
  
  
  • Contribute to industrial excellence (incident resolution, continuous improvement initiatives, industrial and operational challenges)
  
  
  • Capitalize on knowledge and expertise
  
  
  • Support the development and strengthening of employees' technical skills by delivering training within your area of expertise
  
  
  
  


• Line-manage a competence team (engineers and technicians)

Short business trips, up to one week per month, are to be expected as part of this role.
