Le poste
Le poste est rattaché au chef du groupe Acoustique au sein du département Physique. Vous contribuerez au renouvellement nécessaire des solutions acoustiques de Saint-Gobain pour mieux répondre aux défis du changement climatique.
Dans ce cadre, vos missions seront les suivantes:
- Contribuer à la recherche et à la conception de nouveaux matériaux, produits et systèmes avec des performances acoustiques optimisées, pour les domaines de la construction et de l'industrie des transports.
- Evaluer les performances acoustiques des solutions in situ dans l'habitat en lien (par l'expérience et la simulation) avec le confort acoustique ressenti.
- Développer la veille technologique (publications, brevets, normalisation) et la mise en place de partenariats aussi bien avec le milieu industriel qu'avec les laboratoires académiques.

Reporting to the Acoustics Group Leader within the Physics Department, you will contribute to the development and renewal of Saint-Gobain's acoustic solutions to better address the challenges posed by climate change.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Contribute to the research and design of new materials, products, and systems with optimized acoustic performance for the construction and transport sectors.
- Evaluate the in-situ acoustic performance of solutions in residential settings, correlating findings (via testing and simulation) with perceived acoustic comfort.
- Conduct technology monitoring (publications, patents, standardization) and establish partnerships with both industry and academic laboratories.
